55357;56547; In case you missed the July launch of the Active Aging Ideation Lab you can view it at https://www.linkedin.com/events/strategicdoingnetworks-practiti7087379920749801472/ We had a smaller audience but from throughout the US and Europe. Insights from Dr. Cara Carramusa were shared as we talked about the complexities of active aging with through the lens of a practitioner, educator, and caregiver.
55357;56481; The goal of TAAILS is to rethink our approaches and systems of aging using Strategic Doing to test ideas by “doing the doable” through small experiments. Why?
· By 2030, one in five Americas will be over the age of 65.
· That is more than a two-fold increase in 30 years.
Rethinking how we actively age, how communities support it, and sharing best practices will is essential.
55357;56960; TAAILS will host monthly live Webcasts on the third Thursday at 9:00 am EST (New York) and 3:00 pm CET (Brussels). We will interview thought leaders in aging services and active aging to learn, with an open Q&A. TAAILS will use Strategic Doing to frame the potential of ongoing conversations and the potential of forming core teams to explore “what could we do together.” It is our hope to build on and share the best practices in the greater field of active aging.
